In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and Health Canada, Goodman Manufacturing Company, L.P. (“Goodman”) is voluntarily recalling certain molded plastic evaporator coil drain pans that were sold from approximately January 2019 through November 2021.
This recall applies only to affected drain pans that are verified to be paired in the field with residential condensing gas furnaces installed in an up-flow/vertical configuration.

Affected drain pans were assembled as new equipment with certain evaporator coil models with serial number prefixes ranging from 1901-2101 and were sold from approximately January 2019 through November 2021.
Affected drain pans were also sold as service parts from approximately January 2019 through November 2021 and may be within the scope of the recall regardless of coil serial number.
To determine if you have an affected drain pan, Goodman will need:
- The serial number of your evaporator coil.
(If you received an Owner Notice, the coil serial number we have on file for you may be listed on your Notice.)
They may also need information about:
- Your furnace and
- Information about your outdoor system (air conditioner or heat pump)
